Ag.General Manager Internal Audit The Management

Mr. Caxton Gambo Njuga is responsible for providing independent assurance and advisory on KPC’s governance, risk management and compliance practices. He oversees development and implementation of KPC’s internal audit strategy
and the company’s integrity & ethics framework. Working with the Board Audit and Risk Committee, he also coordinates external audit services and other assurance providers.

A solution oriented professional, Caxton has experience spanning over 19 years in both the public sector and private sectors. He joined Kenya Pipeline in 2010 as Chief Internal Auditor before his elevation to the role of Internal Audit Manager in 2021 and is currently serving as Ag. General Manager Internal Audit. Prior to joining KPC, Caxton was the Head of Internal Audit at Agricultural Finance Corporation and previously served in compliance and internal audit roles at the Capital Markets Authority and Industrial Promotion Services (IPS Kenya) Ltd respectively.

He holds a Master of Business Administration (MBA) and a Bachelor of Commerce ( BCom) degree specialising in Finance both from the University of Nairobi. He is a quali6ed accountant (CPA) and a member of the Institute of Certi6ed Public Accountants of Kenya(ICPAK), a Certi6ed Information System Auditor (CISA) and a member of the Information System Audit & Control Association (ISACA). Caxton is also a member of the Institute of Internal Auditors (IIA) and a CPS 6nalist having completed the Certi6ed Public Secretary (CPS Kenya) course in 2012.
